In an attempt to prevent sweeping Democratic gains in the most populous red state in the country, President Donald Trump battled on Wednesday nite to mobilize Texas voters behind Senate candidate Ken Paxton in the face of protestors and a bad political environment.

Protesters, including one who seemed to be near the platform, frequently disrupted the president’s speech. The president was interrupted by a minimum of twelve protesters.

In the meanwhile, Trump claims that his government would help over 20 million Medicare members pay their Part B premiums by providing one-time payments of $90 per individual.

Americans Distrust Both Parties on AI

According to an AP-NORC survey, Americans don’t trust Republicans or Democrats when it comes to AI.

According to a recent AP-NORC poll, few Americans believe that either major political party has the upper hand when it comes to artificial intelligence.

Nearly two out of ten Americans say they have equal faith in both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party when it comes to AI, compared to about four out of ten who say they don’t. The remaining people are divided between believing in Democrats and Republicans.

Even those who sympathize with the parties are conflicted about their capacity to resolve the problem.

Americans Want Human Control Over AI

According to an AP-NORC survey, Americans want to maintain human supervision over AI.

According to a recent AP-NORC survey, around 8 out of 10 American citizens believe it is “extremely” or “very” necessary for the US government to make sure AI remains under human control.

They are equally inclined to want the government to give the nation’s workers protection top priority. The majority of American citizens also believe that expanding the American economy and reducing environmental damage are crucial. Promoting technical innovation is mentioned by approximately half, while competing with China is mentioned by significantly fewer.

Rubio Says U.S. Will Pursue Ukraine Deal

According to the report, persons under 30 also show greater levels of concern than those 60 or older.

Rubio is restating that although it has been challenging, the Trump administration would continue to work for a diplomatic resolution to Russia’s conflict in Ukraine.

After fresh Russian attacks in eastern Ukraine claimed 30 lives, he told reporters in Portugal, “We have tried, we will continue to try, but we’re also not going to invest in pointless processes if we can’t make progress.”

Trump Attacks Michigan Senate Nominee El Sayed

The Michigan Senate nominee reacts to Trump’s attack on El-Sayed by saying, “He’s attacking all of us.”

In a late Wednesday social media post, President Trump disparaged Michigan Democratic Senate contender Abdul El-Sayed, calling him “Mohammed” and claiming that he “goes back to the days of the Jihad.”

Trump commented on Truth Social, “He is a RADICAL Extremist, Terrorist Sympathizer.”

El-Sayed, a former public health officer who was born in the United States to Egyptian immigrant parents, replied on social media that the president is aware of his name, saying, “He says it every day.”

Obama Endorses Keisha Lance Bottoms for Governor

In the Georgia governor’s race, Barack Obama supports Keisha Lance Bottoms.

In a video message made public on Thursday, the Democratic former president referred to the former mayor of Atlanta as a buddy.

Obama praised Bottoms’ plans to increase pay for police and firemen, remove the state sales tax on groceries, and expand Medicaid and pre-kindergarten access, saying, “As a former judge, council member, and mayor, Keisha believes that public service is about putting you first.”

Obama increased his midterm campaign efforts on Thursday by endorsing Troy Jackson in the Maine Senate race and Deb Haaland for governor of New Mexico.

Talarico Challenges Paxton to Senate Debate

Jackson declared during his race that he would be “Trump with a Southern tone” and enjoys the support of President Trump. However, he just took down a few references to Trump from his campaign website.

During her primary campaign, Bottoms, who also served as former President Joe Biden’s advisor, received Biden’s support.

Talarico says he concurs with Trump that Paxton and him ought to have a discussion.

James Talarico, a Democrat from Texas, stated on Thursday that he concurs with President Trump that he and Republican Ken Paxton should have a debate in their Senate race before to the midterm election.

In a social media post, Talarico tagged Paxton and wrote, “Ball’s your court.”

Georgia and Texas Races Gain Attention

Prior to the 2026 midterm elections, the Texas Senate race and the Georgia governor’s race are receiving more national attention.

While Trump is still supporting Paxton in Texas, Obama is supporting Bottoms in Georgia. Talarico, meantime, declares that he is open to debating Paxton, raising the question of whether the Republican contender will consent to the battle.
