Officers said the man and child are not believed to know each other. Incident at Johnson’s of Old Hurst The incident happened inside the zoo’s tropical area, where crocodiles are kept in a converted cattle barn. The enclosure includes fenced walkways above water and planted areas for the animals. Police are still working to understand how the child ended up inside the restricted enclosure. Officers are speaking with witnesses who were present at the time. Child Receiving Hospital Treatment Emergency services took the boy to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Doctors confirmed that his condition remains critical but stable. Police said they are supporting the child’s family during this difficult time.
