Leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Talal Chaudhry, chastised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday.
During the Senate debate, Chaudhry voiced his opinion, saying, “The PTI leadership had held talks with the terrorists and pretended to show goodwill gestures to them [the terrorists].” He attacked Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating, “The KP chief minister has said to hold talks with those who have been involved in terrorism.”
“The wave of terrorism was at its peak, when the PML-N came into power way back in 2013,” he said, recalling the PML-N’s stint in office from 2013 to 2018. During the years 2013 and 2018, three MNAs chose to become martyrs. All political parties were included in the National Action Plan (NAP) that we developed.”
