The franchise, which began in 1995 with the debut of the first movie, has been a major influence on animation. Toy Story was the first computer-animated feature film. The sequels were hugely successful and broke records in box office. Toy Story 3 & Toy Story 4 won the Academy Award as Best Animated Feature.
