After performing hair transplant surgeries in his residence, Dubai Police, along with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), arrested a man for practicing medicine without a license.
Through videos posted on a specific social media account, the suspect advertised the unauthorized services, endangering the clients’ health. The DHA and the Anti-Economic Crimes Department conducted a thorough investigation before the arrest.
Police discovered that the guy had set up a makeshift clinic in one of the rooms of his three-bedroom flat. The family lived in the remaining two rooms. Officers found surgical tools, medical equipment, anesthetics, disinfectants, and hair transplant chemicals within the makeshift medical area; none of these items complied with health and safety regulations.
