FIFA says Iran will be at the World Cup

FIFA is not going to replace Iran with Italy at the 2026 World Cup. This idea came up when Paolo Zampolli talked to Donald Trump and Gianni Infantino about it.

Even though there are problems with Iran FIFA has made it clear what they think. Gianni Infantino recently said that Iran will play in the tournament and nothing is going to change.

Paolo Zampolli thinks Italy is a team because they have won the World Cup four times. He also said that he likes Italy because he is from there.

A lot of people did not like this idea. People from Iran said it was not fair and that it was about politics. They said that teams should get to play in the World Cup because they are good at football.

People in Italy also did not like the idea. Giancarlo Giorgetti said it was not an idea. Andrea Abodi said that teams have to be good at football to play in the World Cup.

The president of the Italian National Olympic Committee Luciano Buonfiglio agrees with them. He said he would be upset if a team got to play without earning it.

Italy is not going to the World Cup

Italy will not be at the World Cup because they did not play enough. They lost a game to Bosnia and Herzegovina. This means they will not be at the World Cup for the time, in a row.

Iran is getting ready to play in the World Cup in the United States. They will play New Zealand and Belgium in Los Angeles. Then they will play Egypt in Seattle.

The World Cup starts on June 11 and the United States, Canada and Mexico will host it.

FIFAs rules

FIFA has rules that say they can replace a team if they cannot play.. This is only if the team cannot play or if they do something wrong. It is not because of what someone suggests.

Now it looks like Iran will still play in the World Cup. FIFA says they are still a part of it.
