George Clooney Flees France Wildfires
Amidst the devastating wildfires in the south of France, George and Amal Clooney have fled their house.
Earlier last week, actor Clooney, his wife, a human rights attorney, and their two kids departed their Brignoles home.
He wrote: “We have no idea whether our beautiful home makes it through this terrible moment” to Didier Brémond, the mayor of the city.
Clooney went on to say that he and his spouse were determined to assist in rebuilding their community “whatever happens” following the fires.
The family received French citizenship in December 2025 after purchasing their Brignoles property in 2021.

He told Esquire magazine: “I don’t want them to be wandering around scared about photographers.
