Omar Ayub, the senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), declared on Wednesday that the party would not participate in the forthcoming fourth round of negotiations with the ruling coalition, calling the current process “useless” in the absence of a judicial panel.
His remarks were made soon after PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui, who is the government negotiating team’s spokesperson, declared that the fourth session of negotiations between the struggling PTI and the ruling alliance would take place on January 28.
He added that one of the PTI’s main objectives for ongoing negotiations is that the government make a decision regarding the judicial commission.
