Rana Sanaullah, the Prime Minister’s adviser on political affairs, has voiced hope that the coalition government’s answer to the requests made by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will persuade the group to resume talks.
“The government’s response will be assertive and politically relevant,” Sanaullah asserted during his Saturday appearance on the news show “Jirga.”
Even after imprisoned PTI founder Imran Khan ordered his party to halt negotiations with the government, the PM’s adviser maintained optimism that both parties would reach a definitive agreement if the previous ruling party chose to sit at the dialogue table rather than look for reasons to avoid it.
