RAWALPINDI: According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday, security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province killed 30 terrorists during three different counterterrorism operations.
The military’s propaganda wing said that the security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the region of Lakki Marwat.
“After the troops effectively engaged the terrorists at their location, eighteen khwarij were sent to hell, while six khwarij got injured,” added the statement.
Security personnel also “successfully neutralized eight terrorists” in the Karak district of the province.
Security personnel shot and killed four terrorists, including ring leaders Aziz ur Rehman, also known as Qari Ismail and Mukhlis, in a third confrontation that happened in the general region of Bagh, Khyber district. Two other terrorists were injured.
