RAWALPINDI: According to hospital sources who spoke to news on Wednesday, a 12-year-old domestic servant who was allegedly subjected to torture by her employers died at Holy Family Hospital.
The event happened in the Asghar Mall neighborhood of Rawalpindi, which is under the jurisdiction of the Banni Police Station. Iqra, the victim, was taken to the hospital after suffering severe injuries, where she passed away.
Rashid Shafiq and his wife, Sana, are the main suspects (the maid’s employers) and have been taken into custody by the police.
Authorities claim that a case has been filed against them in response to the father’s complaint. The first information report (FIR) includes allegations of murder in addition to seven other CrPC sections.
