Nearly three years after the couple made their engagement public, Pakistani artist Asim Azhar has announced his split from his fiancée, Pakistani actor and model Merub Ali.
“Peacefully and mutually” was how Azhar described the decision when he announced the news late last night on Instagram.
“After a great deal of thought and reflection, Merub & I, have chosen to move forward on separate paths peacefully & mutually,” Azhar stated.

He went on to say: “Life sometimes has its own way, even if we had special times together and sincerely hoped for a future together. We have and always will have the highest regard for one another and the families concerned.”
