In the kindest of terms, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the police on Monday for their tireless efforts to protect public order and foil terrorist plots by pursuing adversaries who aim to destabilize the nation.
“Today, we pay tribute to the brave officers and men of our police who, regardless of the weather, remain active in the performance of their duty, away from their loved ones, and sacrifice their lives to maintain law and order in every corner of the country,” he said in a message on the occasion of Police Martyrs’ Day.
We also honor the wonderful families of our martyrs today, who gave up their futures for us.
