At the conclusion of comedian Paul Currie’s performance at the weekend, the Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) said that it was “assisting Jewish guests who were reportedly hounded out” of the Soho Theatre.

Following an incident at the conclusion of comedian Paul Currie’s performance on Saturday night, Soho Theatre, a former synagogue in the West End, declared that it “will not tolerate intimidation of audience members due to their nationality, race, religion, or beliefs”.

The incident was reported on Monday, and the Metropolitan Police have stated that officers are also conducting inquiries.

The Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) said it was “assisting Jewish guests who were reportedly hounded out” of the venue.

The organization stated that after the performance, when the Palestinian flag was raised, an Israeli man and his companion departed the event, followed by a group of four Jewish people.

People in the crowd of roughly 200 were asked to stand for both the Ukrainian and Palestinian flags, the CAA claimed. When asked why he had not stood, the Israeli guy reportedly replied that he had been enjoying the show up until the Palestinian flag came, according to the organization.
