Aaqib Javed, head coach of the Lahore Qalandars, stated on Tuesday that his team played poorly against the Multan Sultans in the 14th match of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League.

Speaking to the media following the conclusion of the Lahore leg, Javed stated: “The Qalandars could not be established. Both bowling and fielding fell short of expectations.”

“There is variety in our spin bowling department. But not getting the wickets complicates the issue,” he explained.

Javed went on to say: “First of all, we are looking to win the match, as victory is quite important for us as a team unit.”

“Our team heavily relies on the bowling department, but having an incomplete bowling attack has hurt us,” he said
