On Pakistan Day, an inspiring All-Pakistan speech competition named “March 23, 1940 and Today’s Pakistan” was conducted, with children demonstrating their oratory abilities. Suno FM Radio Network organized the event to educate young people about the relevance of the Pakistan Resolution.
The competition, held at the Army Public School DHA Campus, drew entrants from all over the country. Mr. Iftikhar Arif, a renowned writer and poet, served as the closing ceremony’s principal guest, mesmerizing the audience with his poems.
The young speakers enthralled the audience with their eloquence, emphasizing the historical significance of March 23, 1940, and its connection to modern-day Pakistan.
Haider Abbas from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took first place, followed by Muhammad Abdullah Nawaz from Lahore in second place.Meshaal Abrar Abbasi from Azad Jammu and Kashmir placed third.
The victors were granted cash rewards, with the first place earning Rs5 lakh, the second Rs3 lakh, and the third Rs2 lakh. In addition, participants were honored for their achievements, with Rs50,000 prizes presented to other speakers. The event finished with a celebration of talent and patriotism, evoking the spirit of unity and pride that Pakistan Day represents.
