During an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Pishin District, security forces killed three terrorists and captured another, the military’s media wing claimed on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during a fierce gunfight, three terrorists “were sent to hell” during the IBO on April 22–23.
According to the ISPR, another terrorist was captured with injuries and has been identified as an Afghan national.
The statement went on to say that a sizable cache of explosives, weapons, and ammunition had also been found during the operation.
It went on, “Pakistani security forces, in sync with the country, are resolute in foiling attempts to undermine the peace, stability, and advancement of Balochistan.”
The ISPR had released a statement the day before stating that at least 11 terrorists had been slain in two distinct operations in North Waziristan and Dera Ismail Khan, both in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The military’s media wing released a communiqué claiming that the security forces carried out an intelligence-driven operation in the DI Khan sanctuary in response to reports of terrorist activity.
