A socialist member of Chicago’s city council feels that utilizing police to secure safe streets and punish criminals is “racist,” and refers to America as a “garbage society.”
Rossana Rodriguez is a Chicago alderwoman who supports police defunding and belongs to the Democratic Socialists. The alderwoman, who specifically advocates for “critical race theory” to be taught to children, also serves on the council’s Education and Child Development committee.
The alderwoman frequently criticizes American society on social media.
According to the councilmember, America is “a garbage society” and “a White supremacist society and system” that “favors White people.” Rodriguez believes that “white people are ahead of the game” when compared to minority groups.
