Manzoor Wassan, the leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), is well-known for making audacious forecasts about the political landscape of his nation. On Sunday, he made a bold declaration predicting the dissolution of the current administration within the next three months.
The upcoming “trimester is extremely crucial” in terms of the political landscape, the politician claimed. “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif may dissolve the National Assembly within the next three months.”
Wassan also dismissed the notion that, given the current political climate, Nawaz Sharif, the president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), would succeed him as prime minister.
He stated that the provincial assemblies will stay in place, but it would be interesting to observe what kind of arrangement developed later.
The lawmaker went on to say that he did not see any favorable conditions for Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), or for other politicians.
