NBC invited rapper-turned-media personality Snoop Dogg to cover the Summer Olympics in Paris starting on July 26 as a special reporter.
The Young, Wild & Free rapper expressed his reaction to the new position by saying, “I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris.”
“It’s a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness,” the statement continues. There will be some incredible competitions, and naturally, I’ll be adding my Snoop style to the mix.”

Remarkably, this is not the first time Snoop has taken the mic to provide on-location coverage of an Olympic update.
