In a desperate attempt to change the course of the election, the Tories plan to use a letter from supporters of small and medium-sized businesses.

In a desperate attempt to persuade indecisive voters that they are capable of being trusted with overseeing Britain's economy, the Conservative Party will release a letter signed by a large number of small company owners on Wednesday.

Based on information that News was able to obtain, the Conservatives plan to make public a letter signed by one hundred to one hundred fifty SME owners arguing that a Labour government would put their businesses at risk.
According to sources, the letter was scheduled for dissemination on Wednesday, the day before Britain’s national election.

On Tuesday, it was unclear what was written in the letter or who the signatories were.

A businessman who was asked to sign it but declined said he was shocked that the Conservatives had not taken more action to capitalize on the divisions between it.

An insider characterised it as “a desperate attempt” to counteract the gains made by Labour, which has been supported by entrepreneurs in a series of letters released during the election campaign.

One of those, nevertheless, was widely mocked for only mentioning the CEO or chair of the FTSE-100, Andrew Higginson, the chairman of JD Sports Fashion.

Another concentrated on the Apprenticeship Levy’s suggested revisions.

Political campaigns in the UK now frequently include letters endorsing candidates from the corporate world; historically, the Tories have been able to garner a sizable amount of support from these individuals.
