ISLAMABAD: On Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif traveled to Karachi to meet with businesspeople and talk about changes at the harbor.
During his visit to Karachi, PM Shehbaz is expected to interact with prominent figures including as Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, according to sources who spoke to News.
The prime minister will chair a gathering of businesspeople engaged in import and export in Pakistan’s economic center, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The sources claimed he would be joined at the meeting by the chief minister of Sindh.
The PMO stated that he would receive briefings regarding Port Qasim, Karachi Port Trust, and the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation during the visit.
He is scheduled to visit the seaport in Karachi to assess its operations, according the PMO. This time, he’ll also need to make important choices on enhancements at the port.
It stated, “The prime minister will receive a briefing regarding the increase in national income and facilities for the business community.”
It stated that following a briefing on the improvements in the export and import sectors, the premier would make some significant choices about trade through the port.
