As the principal guest for the occasion, Karachi Commander Rear Admiral Muhammad Saleem officially opened the championship. Cdre Rashid Mahmood Sheikh informed the audience about the championship’s key characteristics and how it is being conducted in different categories during the media briefing hosted by Patron Pakistan Navy Golf (South).
Professionals, senior professionals, junior professionals, amateurs, veterans, ladies juniors, and pro amateurs will all compete in the golf championship. The media was also informed about the championship’s monetary prizes and accolades in other categories. A special “Toyota Fortuner” prize will be given to the player who scores a “Hole in One.”
