The three-day International Food and Agricultural Exhibition at the Expo Centre in Karachi is now over.
Chief Executive Officer Zubair Motiwala of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan gave a briefing at the end of the expo.
According to him, there were 200% more trade agreements at the current expo than there were at the last one. He stated that orders totaling $1.2 billion were placed with Pakistani companies at this year’s show, and that orders totaling $410 million were placed at the previous year’s event.
According to Motiwala, 800 foreign purchasers from 75 different nations attended the show. Over 500 products from Pakistani enterprises were on display for customers at the event. At the expo was also the largest-ever 150-person Chinese corporate delegation.
