Fast bowler Khurram Shahzad of Pakistan stated on Sunday that there was “potential” for the batters to recover in the second innings of the second Test match against Bangladesh on Monday at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. The match is in its fourth day.
Shahzad, who took six wickets in the first innings against the visitors, stated at a news conference after day three that “we will look forward to winning the match.” Tomorrow, we’ll approach the field with the intention of winning the game.”
“We had held the grip in the match as the one session of day three belonged to us, but subsequently Bangladesh had stitched a good partnership,” he remarked, acknowledging Bangladesh’s comeback in the first innings.
