In the third Twenty20 International, the South African women’s team trounced Pakistan on Friday, taking a 2-1 lead over the Green Shirts in the three-match series.
The visitors defeated the hosts with ease in the Multan Cricket Stadium match, taking just two wickets in their 18.3 overs to chase down the 154-run mark.
The Proteas’ top pitchers were opening pitcher Laura Wolvaardt (45) and reliever Annerie Dercksen (44*), while pitcher Anneke Bosch (46 runs) pitched in before retiring due to injury.
While Tazmin Brits, the opener, was stumped on the first ball she faced, Suné Luus scored 14* runs.
Sadia Iqbal and Tuba Hassan each took one wicket for Pakistan.
