FAISALABAD: The mentors of the Champions Cup at various academies throughout the nation have been given important responsibilities by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The PCB chose the five mentors, who will supervise player development at various high-performance centers across the country.
A PCB source claims that Waqar Younis will work at the Lahore academy, Sarfaraz Ahmed at the Karachi academy, and Shoaib Malik in Sialkot.
Misbah-ul-Haq will oversee the academy in Faisalabad, and Saqlain Mushtaq has been assigned to the Multan academy.
According to the source, these mentors were given high-paying jobs before the Champions Cup started.
In addition to working during competitions, the mentors will be part of the PCB’s year-round operations, supporting a range of cricket-related initiatives.
