In an interview this week, Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase, praised the way that former President Donald Trump handled the economy, immigration, China, and other issues.
In an interview with CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Wednesday, Dimon made the remarks supporting “MAGA” voters.
“When people say ‘MAGA,’ they are genuinely observing Trump supporters and believe that by voting, they are scapegoating them and implying that you share his views. However, Dimon remarked of the former president, “I don’t think they’re voting for Trump because of his family values.”
Although Dimon refrained from fully supporting Trump’s statements on touchy subjects, he acknowledged that many voters evidently saw value in his first term as president.
“I don’t like how he said things about Mexico […] but he wasn’t wrong about some of these critical issues, and that’s why they’re voting for him,” Dimon stated to CNBC. “I think people should be a little more respectful of our fellow citizens.”

“I mean, really, can we just stop that stuff and actually grow up and treat other people with respect and listen to them a little bit?” he said. “I think this negative talk about MAGA is going to hurt Biden’s election campaign.”
This is merely the most recent analysis Dimon has provided regarding the economic problems that Americans are facing nationwide.
Earlier this month, Dimon expressed his doubts about the Federal Reserve’s ability to accomplish a soft landing following their most aggressive rate-hike campaign since the 1980s.
