A commitment to furthering bilateral cooperation under the enhanced China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC 2.0), which comprises five new lanes, was reiterated by China and Pakistan on Thursday.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Both parties committed to collaborate closely on the next stage of CPEC and expressed satisfaction with the development of their relationship.
Currently, PM Shehbaz is on an official six-day visit to China. On August 30, he arrived in Tianjin to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference.
