Paul Burell, the former butler to King Charles and the late Princess Diana, just revealed the biggest secret in his new book.
It recounts the events that transpired in the hours after Prince Harry’s birth while Princess Diana was still in her hospital room, according to passages that The Mirror was able to secure.
During the period when Prince Charles was “Charles came into the hospital, looked in the cot, and said ‘Oh, red hair,'” Diana reportedly murmured to her butler. “But, Charles, you know that’s the Spencer gene,” Diana retorted. All of us have red hair. Then [Diana says] the final blow was delivered. “Well, at least I have my heir and spare now and… I can go back to Camilla,” he remarked.
