The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Wednesday that two terrorists were slain during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The military’s media wing claimed in a statement that “security forces conducted the operation in general area Mir Ali on October 9, 2024, on the reported presence of Khwarij.”
Two terrorists were slain in a heavy gunfight between security personnel and militants during the operation, according to the ISPR.
“Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from killed Khwarij [terrorists], who continued to be actively involved in multiple terrorist acts against the security forces and among the innocent civilians in the area,” the statement continued.
