DUBAI: Pakistani players have seen both increases and decreases in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) new T20I rankings, which also include some of the top performers from the ongoing Asia Cup 2025.
While previous leaders Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, who have both been excluded from the T20 team since 2024, fell in the batter’s rankings, Pakistan’s opener Sahibzada Farhan and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Haris witnessed notable increases.
Haris jumped 22 ranks to 89th, while Farhan soared 18 spots to 55th. Once a top-ranked T20I batsman, Babar and Rizwan dropped two and five spots to 26th and 33rd, respectively.
The last time Babar and Rizwan played for Pakistan in the shortest format was on December 13, 2024, at Centurion against South Africa.
