The military spokesperson for Pakistan has vehemently denied the existence of any separatist movement in the nation, emphasizing that the disturbance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan is open terrorism rather than political opposition.
ISPR DG Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry accused India of facilitating terrorist activities within Pakistan by utilizing Afghan territory as a base of operations in an interview with a German magazine.
‘Terrorism, no separatist movement’
According to Lt Gen Chaudhry, Pakistan is dealing with terrorism rather than secession. He called Indian assets used to destabilize Pakistan, referring to the BLA as “Fitna-ul-Hindustan” and the TTP as “Fitna-ul-Khawarij.” He added that Fitna-ul-Hindustan members who were shot dead were listed as missing people in Balochistan.
