Salman Ali Agha, Pakistan’s T20I captain, expressed worry about the controversial dismissal of opener Fakhar Zaman during Sunday’s Super Four match against India in the ACC Men’s Asia T20 Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Agha expressed his disapproval of the decision during a press conference following Pakistan’s second straight tournament loss to India.
“I am not aware of the decision. In my opinion, the ball appeared to bounce before being picked up. It goes without saying that the umpire has a job to do and is subject to error. That doesn’t bother me. However, it appeared to bounce to me,” Agha remarked.
