On Monday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif decided to have a quick meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India.
Details state that Nawaz discussed the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Pakistan during an interview with Indian journalist Barkha Dutt, remarking, “It would have been better if Narendra Modi had himself visited Pakistan.”
Nawaz said, “The SCO is the best opportunity to improve the ties between Pakistan and India,” underscoring the importance of the summit.

Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), praised PM Shehbaz’s address at the UN, asking, “What to do with such a United Nations, who could not implement on its resolution.”
