Senior Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials and Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha sent their deepest sympathies to teenage spinner Dunith Wellalage of Sri Lanka after his father, Suranga Wellalage, passed away unexpectedly.
A video of the skipper and team management comforting the 22-year-old in the dressing room following Sri Lanka’s victory over Afghanistan in their Asia Cup 2025 Group B match at Zayed Cricket Stadium was posted by the PCB on its official social media pages.
