Despite being an ally at the federal level, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz accused the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday of playing politics over the flood problem in Punjab.
She stated that providing Rs 10,000 under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will not benefit flood victims in rebuilding their lives during the electric bus project’s inaugural ceremony in Dera Ghazi Khan.
Despite being a coalition member, Maryam Nawaz expressed sadness that the PPP politicized Punjab’s flood disaster. She denounced Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s recommendation that Pakistan should seek aid from other countries, although she did not name him.
She declared she would not reach out to the world for money because she is the daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
