PESHAWAR: Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, claimed on Tuesday that he had informed Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), about “vloggers” who were attempting to cause rifts inside the party and forward Aleema Khan as the next chairwoman and maybe prime minister.
In a video message posted on social media, Gandapur said that Aleema Khan, the sister of the PTI founder, was actively supporting the vloggers’ defamatory campaign in addition to refusing to control them.
The KP chief minister added that he had also informed the PTI founder that Khan’s relative, columnist Hafeezullah Niazi, was penning pieces that presented Aleema Khan as the “party chairperson and prime minister.”
