Following a two-week international tour that included speeches at the UN General Assembly and talks with world leaders, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif returned to Pakistan in the early hours of Friday.
After a flight from London with a layover in Turkiye, his special aircraft touched down at the Pakistan Air Force base at 3:48 a.m.
On September 17, the prime minister and his delegation departed Islamabad, first spending a day in Saudi Arabia and then heading to Geneva. On September 18, he continued on to London.
Shehbaz visited Goose Bay, Canada, on September 22 before continuing on to New York, where he met with US President Donald Trump and attended a special United Nations session.
