Prior to the Women’s World Cup match against Australia, Pakistan’s senior batter Sidra Amin voiced optimism, calling the game a “significant challenge” for the Green Shirts.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Sidra reportedly stated that the team and each player were still focused on performance.
“We have a strategy in place to eliminate Australia early on,” she stated. “Batting on the wicket is challenging, but it gets easier after a batter spends some time at the crease.”
Sidra declared that she will try to lead her squad to victory once more. “I am the foundation of the team as a senior batter,” she remarked. “The coach and captain give me responsibility and have faith in me.”
