Get ready for a time warp! Luke Evans is set to make his dazzling Broadway debut in Spring 2026. He’ll star in a new revival of the cult classic The Rocky Horror Show.
The twist? He’s stepping into the legendary platform heels of Dr. Frank-N-Furter.
Evans shared his excitement about the unexpected role. “I’ve always wanted to do Broadway,” he said. “I just didn’t think I would be in stilettos and fishnets!”
The production will be a perfect fit for the historic Studio 54 theater. Evans highlighted this match, noting the venue’s past echoes the show’s themes of freedom and self-expression.
He is eager to bring his own version to the character made famous by Tim Curry. “It’s a role I am very, very aware of,” Evans said. “To bring it to life… on a Broadway stage is special.”
The show will be directed by Tony-winner Sam Pinkleton, whom Evans calls a “visionary.”
Previews begin March 26, 2026, with the official opening soon after. The limited run will close on June 21, 2026.
Mark your calendars for a wild, heartfelt, and unforgettable Broadway night.
