Monday saw the arrest of Seattle resident David Crowe, 33, in response to reports of a “emotionally disturbed male acting erratically”.
The New York Police Department said that he was charged on two counts of stalking and harassment each.
Days prior, Swift’s home seemed to have been the target of an apparent break-in attempt.
The singer was out of the house at the time, cheering on her boyfriend, NFL player Travis Kelce, as his Kansas City Chiefs played the Buffalo Bills.
If the initial arrest suspect was connected to the harassment and stalking case, it has not been confirmed by the police.
