Lawson described the Great British Bake Off more than a TV series. She wished Dame Prue good luck and expressed her excitement to be a part of the Bake Off and meet future baking enthusiasts.
Dame Prue welcomed the news warmly. Nigella will take her place. She described Nigella as confident, fun and knowledgeable about baking and food.
Mel Giedroyc, Sue Perkins and the show’s presenters also left when it moved to Channel 4 in 2016. Bake Off continues to grow and evolve.
