Queen Camilla attended a ‘Celebration of Shakespeare’ event, where she met aficionados of the playwright’s work, while King Charles returned to Sandringham alone on Wednesday.
According to the palace, the Queen was received by host Gyles Brandreth and introduced to guests during a celebration of William Shakespeare’s legacy.
Guests she met included Dame Eileen Atkins, Baroness Floella Benjamin, Dame Judi Dench, Dame Penelope Keith, Dame Twiggy Lawson, Dame Joanna Lumley, and Dame Virginia McKenna.
During the reception, Queen Camilla met with fans, including performers, authors, directors, and representatives from the National Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Company.
