According to an examination of newly released census data, there may be even more movement out of Pennsylvania and between its counties in 2024, which could lead to a closer contest between President Biden and former President Trump in the crucial battleground state than there was in 2020.
“Irregular migration trends may contribute to a more competitive 2020 presidential election in 2024,” wrote Berwood Yost, the director of the Floyd Institute’s Center for Opinion Research at Franklin & Marshall College.
