A four-day holiday, beginning on Monday, April 8, has been issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The decision extends the holidays to Thursday, April 11th, giving most employees a well-earned rest.
Since Friday and Saturday are already considered weekends in Saudi Arabia, workers will have six days off to commemorate the holiday.
Employees in the public and private sectors are anticipated to return to work on Sunday, April 14, following the Eid festivities. This year, Ramadan ends on Eidul Fitr, with Saudi Arabia observing its first fast on March 11.
In the meantime, April 10 or 11 is when Pakistan is expected to celebrate Eidul Fitr. Three public holidays have been declared in honor of the occasion, beginning on Wednesday, April 10th, and continuing until Friday, April 12th.
With the weekend following the Eid holidays, Pakistanis will also enjoy a five-day break to observe the festive occasion and spend time with their loved ones.
