Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds thrilled attendees during a UK sneak peek for the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie.
The two talked about their love for Wrexham FC, a football team that Reynolds and his pal Rob McElhenney co-own, during their discussion on their on-screen chemistry in the movie with Radio Virgin.
Jackman stated boldly, “They are,” in response to the question of whether Deadpool and Wolverine would back Wrexham. This is Deadpool, and my name is Wolverine.”
“Up the town is their middle name, collectively,” the IF actor joked, alluding to Wrexham’s fervent fan support.
However, Jackman reminisced about his trip to Wrexham from the previous year, when he went to see a game alongside Reynolds and McElhenney following the team’s promotion back to the EFL 2, adding, “I had the time of my life.”
