The singer of “Messed Up as Me” gushed over Ariana Grande’s most recent single and Taylor Swift’s songwriting approach in an interview with PEOPLE magazine.
When discussing the recently released album, The Tortured Poets Department, by Eras Tour queen, the 56-year-old country singer ran out of things to say.
“Taylor’s songwriting is really incredible, it really is. Adjectives really don’t do it justice,” Urban told the publication. She is an incredibly talented writer. Thus, this brand-new album is only additional, excellent evidence of that.
We Can’t Be Friends, the newest song by the bloodline vocalist, has become a passion for him; he describes it as “addictive.”
“I’m not sure what’s up with that song, but I can’t stop listening to it.” It sounds like heroin on audio.
I literally need another hit,” he remarked. “I keep playing that thing over and over.”
He went on, “That’s my absolute current obsession song right now.”
Additionally, Urban and his spouse Nicole Kidman saw Grande perform on We Can’t Be Friends on May 6 at the Met Gala 2024.
It is important to note that the country music icon will launch his brand-new residency, High, at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas for ten nights in October and February 2025.
