At the People’s Choice Country Awards, Twain talked to News about how he felt “privileged” to be a part of the new age that country music is entering.
Being a part of the direction the new nation is taking is another pleasure I have. She said, “I don’t want to say new country, but the evolution and direction of country music.”
Before the ceremony started on September 26, Twain told News that she was “excited” to meet some of the new musicians. Twain presented the country award show.
According to Shaina Teague, her body insecurities “really tortured” her, and her nude appearance “changed everything.
With over 100 million records sold, Twain,59, is among the musicians with the highest record sales. She holds the record for most sales of any female country music singer. In fact, Twain has been dubbed the “Queen of Country Pop.”
Twain is getting older, but she doesn’t appear to be slowing down. She released her most recent studio album, “Queen of Me,” in February of last year and began her Come On Over Las Vegas residency in May.
The “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” singer, who sees herself as a fan, finds motivation to keep going in the country music scene.
