The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training intends to introduce a free transport service in an effort to address the issue of transportation for female teachers and students in the Islamabad Capital Territory Schools.
According to specifics, the district administration would assist in getting about 20 buses from federal educational institutions ready and on the road.
With the backing of the district government, these buses will be operated in the federal capital’s urban and rural districts, providing free transportation for female teachers and students from both public and private educational institutions.
It also stated that these buses would be painted pink and designated for ladies and girls. This action has been taken by the ministry due to the rising dropout rate.
